I want to make some music videos from Movie Footage, can anyone tell me how to capture movie footage?

Im very familiar with editing software. i was want to make some of those music videos you find on youtube made from movie footage, id love to make a few myself. but i dont know how to capture the movie footage to my hard drive, any help? please?

Well you can google for some programs that can SPLIT your videos, that’s an easy way, just type in VIDEO SPLITTER or something like that, maybe VIDEO SPLIT and that should help Good luck with making videos !
