Why the collection of objects in the definition of set is used however empty/one element set is also a set?
In math the definition of a set is “The collection of well defined and distinct objects is called a set” but a set having no element is called a set or a single element set is also called a set however these are not collection of objects. Please explain it. Thanks.
one word can have multiple meanings. the mathamatical “set” is used differently than the one you are reffering too…..gotta love the english language
