Ameritrade – how do i sell stocks short?
hi, i know we have to click on “Sell Short”. but then it asks me if its a market order or limit and asks me to put a value in the box, where we normally put the stock value.
can someone tell me whats the value to be put here?
First you need to open a margin account. Basically to sell short, you sell the shares at a price before you buy shares at a price.
