How can I become a registered nurse?

I have been looking everywhere on how to become a registered nurse. I’ve called colleges and all they tell me is to call other places and find out. It’s like the whole world has no idea! I don’t want to get finacial aid, because I already owe some and can’t withdraw anymore. Is there any certificate programs that I can take online to become one? Someone help me!

Have you tried your State Board of Nursing for a reference? If you want an online college, try Excelsior College. They are very highly regarded. That’s where my wife got her ASN. It prepared her really well for the Boards (LPN and, a few years later, RN). Excelsior is not cheap but if you can afford their fees, you will get an excellent education.
