Rosetta stone is a program that uses dynamic immersion however it does not always work well.?

One some parts of the program it will have a guy with a ladder and a guy with a clipboard, what in the world are you supposed to get out of the accompanying phrase. In the beginning it does well to teach you the meanings of the words. However as it goes on it stops teaching you the meanings and leaves you more to guess at it. So i am wondering if anyone out there has a translation program for rosetta stone russian levels 1-3?
