Thanks. I just found the national debt clock page. I know very little about the debt but would like to learn more about it and how it effects us a people and as a nation. Any help would be great.

You’ve got to be kidding.
It doesn’t work that way.
The only way to stop the Debt Clock, would require Congress and all State and Local governments to stop spending money immediately. As that will never happen, the debt is just going to keep growing.
