Your personal "X-Ray" Tutorial: (procedure was written for Photoshop users) Step 1 – Select the photo you need a decent photo. Sheer is not the only characteristic the photo must be in possession but it is very important. Pure Black, in my experience, not work, at least not as good, but some people have been able to get some decent results. The material itself does not matter as seen in the following examples, provided that is pure and clear colored material, you should be fine. Remember, you are exposing the darker / tones clear meat beneath the cloth … so be sure to have something to work. One more thing, You Keep in mind that most people (like me) have prominent x-ray of the chest area, this is because the clothing is tight against the flesh. Areas like folds or voids have much less to any result. Step 2 – selecting the area of "X-Ray" Try to select only the area where you are editing, do not do the entire image or look terrible. You'll need to use "magnetic lasso" tool and outline of the specified area. IE, if you are "x-raying" chest area, select the entire top with the magnetic lasso tool … not just tits. Once the area has been selected, right click in the area delimited and choose "Layer via Copy." This will cause a new layer of the selected portion. You can also choose to "Feather" the scheme … but not necessary. Step 3 – Obtaining "X-Ray" effect then go to "Picture" -> "Settings" -> "levels". From there you can play with the slider bar to best effect. I can not really explain this part further as each photo is different, especially light and / or dark clothing. From here you can begin to artistic, play with other levels such as color, contrast, brightness, and more importantly the "Dodge" and "Burn" tools to perfect it. But be warned! … do not become dependent on the Dodge and burn tools … ultimately, ruin the image of "drawing" in it. Only use it with care to darken the shadows that are already there.
