How To Overclock Ram Ddr3

Does overclocking void warranty in different parts of a system?

I will use an Intel Core i7-920, with 6 GB of RAM DDR3 1600 MHz, and ASUS P6T motherboard. If I overclock to around 3.6GHz – 4.0GHz will void the warranty? I heard that if overclocking is less importance as the I aspire, then it should not affect the warranty. Can someone explain this? Thanks:)

Only you know that … you are guaranteed. Read carefully. Who bought it through? The general rule with any assurance is that the company does not protect against intentional misuse or something that shortens life the subject. If done incorrectly, overclocking can be very very harmful. So now kill the processor and pass through the security. They are on the processor and determine it was fried because of overheating due to overclocking. Probably not cover it because it caused it to happen and therefore not responsible.
