How does professional hair removal work?

I want to get it done but I am not sure how they do it ? Is it really spendy ? What is the best type of permanent hair removal ?

If it’s on your face / eyebrows make sure you get them shaped professionally first, and be happy with the shape before you go off to a clinic to get the regrowth removed permanently.

There are different types – lasers which are used for bigger areas, eg cheeks, back, arms etc. The hair follicle absorbs the energy of the laser and dies, over a course of sessions, probably around 6.

There’s also tweezers which are basically electrified. They grab individual hairs and then send a zap through the tweezers, down through the hair into the follicle. Do that enough times and the follicle dies.
Doesn’t hurt at all, although electrolysis does (I think it’s becoming obsolete now, where they stick an electrified pin into the hair follicle – that apparently hurts)

Both cost a fair amount of cash, depends what you’re having done – but it’s not ridiculously expensive, prob cost you $30 – 40 per session / over 6 – 10 sessions at a guess)
