Can someone tell me how a battery works in a way I can understand?

Alright, so your battery is full of like energy. So you put that battery in the exporter thing likea remote. Then the energy gets sucked up by the remote and uses that energy to make the inputs. Energy gets used up, runs out. Battery dies.
