Is the amount of love you have for a person based on the amount of money you have? ?

A friend of mine who is a single mother states that the guy that she is dating (5 or so years) told her that it is hard to love her because he does not have that much money and that his love for her will grow as his money grows. Is that how love works?

No, it shouldn’t be like that. I don’t know what he’s talking about. If that were the case, I’d never love anybody, based on my bank account.
