is facebook mobile only thru text messages and not the internet?

i have a cell but no internet plan. facebook mobile works through text messages but will i get charged any internet fees or just thru text messages? i only plan to write status updates no pictures or anything

Status updates, messages, comments, responses etc. are all done via text message, so you are in the clear. Just make sure you’ve got a good plan that allows you alot/unlimited messaging if you plan on using it all the time. The only time you really need to go online w/ your phone is if you actually want to see your whole profile, or perhaps to see what pics people have commented on. So yeah, I have it, and it works great. Enjoy
