why is twilight making people want to change their image?

okayy, i love twilight, dont get me wrong.
but this phenomenon is getting a little crazy.
why is it that people suddenly want to know how to make their skin really pale, and what the best colored contacts are to get.?
if you ask me, its sort of ridiculous.
should a movie and book series really influence us to change our looks?
point blank: what is your opinion on twilight, and how it is affecting the fans of it.

The only “kids” who are doing those sort of things, are the ones that would faint at a Hannah Montana or Jonas Brothers concert. No self respecting tween, teen, or person would degrade themselves like that on purpose.

This whole twilight phenomena is about as annoying as the boy band phenomena, it’s really bad, to the point that I don’t know HOW to ignore it. I’m tired of dumb little fangirls buying the whole book series AFTER they’ve seen the movie, that’s just dumb. I’m tired of the fangirls who bought the entire book series right before the movie came out and tried to read the whole series just because of their friends and the movie.

I’m just dead ol’ tired of stupid, little fangirls that take these things waaay too seriously to the point of over exaggeration.
