How are the engines in the nasa’s spaceships powered?

How do the engines work anything informative on it? Its a broad question but im looking for any info.

The main engines develop thrust by using high-energy liquid propellants 6 parts liquid oxygen to 1 part liquid hydrogen (by weight)

The propellants are partially combusted in dual preburners to produce high-pressure hot gas to drive the turbopumps.
