Is it OK to send data from my credit card through email?

I am abroad, have to make a transaction, no phone, and may do so by email, to my travel agent that I trust, but I fear that someone intercepting the details on how .. want to send from my hotmail account is good, or may cause potential problems?

Unless you are using public key encryption (which I doubt), then no. E-mail is not secure and should not transfer data from your credit card for her. I suggest visiting your local travel agent in person using a pay phone, or borrow a friends phone.
