What do you think of the Sweet Valley High books? (old and new)?

many people say that these books made them feel self-consicous about their looks and weight and height. the main characters were described a 5’6 and six-6 figure. and there were also complaints on how some of the books were racist. and that both the twins were so popular and gorgeous, even though one is a sociopath and one is a goody-goody. ?? what do u think?

i like them….the author probably has some problem with beauty…
