How Advertising Affects Us

Do you think we should charge Foreign Countries who organize demonstrations on US soil?

Carrying the Olympic torch on our streets is a sports event.
Chinese and Tibetian groups demonstrating against each other is not.
Do you think we should charge a hefty “rent” to these groups
and with that money pay for any expense they cause such as
Police,CHP, and any other businesses who are adversly affected by these demonstrations?
How about the “air time” on our news media, to advertise these people’s causes?
We always want to be the “Fredom loving good people”
but I think we should insist on getting paid for our expenses.
We like to help, but not at our own expense.
What do you think?

We could charge them, but they would refuse to pay. Let’s not forget that we are economically dependent on many of these nations. The U.S. owes China a huge financial debt for borrowing money from them. The U.S. imports oil from Mexico, so who are we going to charge for demonstrations here?
