Writing a Better Best Man Speech

To make a good best man speech would entail three things. And these 3 things would ascertain the lucidity of the whole speech. Here they are:

1. The goal of the speech
2. The flow of the speech
3. The tone of the speaker when delivering the speech.

The best man must be lucid as to whom he is referring to in the speech. The best man speech must be lucidly understood as a kind of speech intended to be heard by the newlywed couple and all of the wedding guests.

The next thing is, the flow of the speech must tackle about your main concern as the best man. And your main concern must be the bridal couple and then the guests. You must begin by expressing your wish and the guests’ wish for the bridal couple and after that, you call on the wedding guests to take part in making the newlywed’s joining together a good one.

Thirdly, the best man speech must be presented with the proper intonation. It will almost certainly land on deaf ears if you will exactly deliver your speech with flat accent. You should be able to get a hold of the audience’s attention through making each word very clear with the aid of the correct intonation.

Incidentally, these three things must be presented by the right person. This is the secret to have it delivered wonderfully. This best man speech should of course be delivered by a good speaker, in order to make the wedding day worth remembering.

During a wedding, the best man speech is expected to be one of the highlights. If you will be the one to deliver it, that could be nerve-racking! However, if you are nervous, you would still want to keep your speech great and there are best man speech samples that can help you with that.

2. Introduce yourself. Share your friendship with the groom to the audience.
3. Set the speech tone and say something funny about the groom’s expense. You can also tell an amusing anecdote about the groom.
4. Compliment the bride and give an insight into the couple’s relationship.
5. Say something nice about the groom and then do the final toast.

B. If you have little to say about the groom
1. Open your speech by thanking the couple.
2. Give comments and observations about the ongoing wedding ceremony.
3. Explain your duties and give comments as a best man.
4. Recall a memorable historic event on the same day.
5. Deliver your own version of the couple’s romance. Tell the audience about how they met or how the proposal went.
