How do I create a fancy ebay page to sell stuff with Windows Publisher?

I have Windows publisher on my computer and want to use it to create one of those fancy sites to sell stuff with on ebay. I created one site, used a background and two pictures. I clicked on web preview and copied the html code into the html link on the ebay selling site. Unfortunately, the text appeared, but not the background or the pictures?!?!
What am I doing wrong???
Help please???

Don’t EVER use Windows ANYTHING to create web pages!!!!

There are plenty of free editors out there. Find one and use it.
