Books How To Read People

books how to read people
I display the books I’ve read on shelves like some people display their trophies, why would I want a Kindle?

I read from 1 to 3 books per month. But people have pointed put all my life I don’t look like a person who reads. People who know me know I read a lot, but people who’ve just met me never believe me when I tell them reading is a hobby of mine.

I used to just keep my books on my big bookshelf in the living room, but then people starting asking me if I actually read any of them.

Since many many people have pointed out I don’t look like a person who reads books, I started highlighting every book I read, and sticking tabs on some pages.

Now, if anyone asks me if I really read, I can show them how I put a tab on a specific part of a book I liked, and how the main points are highlighted.

I display display my books like trophies. If I ever bought a Kindle, I would no longer be able to display the books I read so:

Why would I want to buy a Kindle?

I do the same thing by ‘displaying’ the books I’ve read. I like to look back and see what I’ve read in solid form.

The question you should ask yourself is do you need a Kindle? Why are you asking if you should get one?

I think that the Kindle is more for convenience, for people on the go, or for people who don’t want to carry around a hard copy of a book. If you are perfectly capable of carrying your books, you might want to stick to hard copies.

On another note, the Kindle does save trees by using less paper.
