How do I find the right girl in a rural area highschool?

I’m a sophomore in Highschool. The area I live in is mostly rural, with no good hangouts. I’ve been trying to find a girl with much of the same interests as me for the longest time. The problem with this is that there are no video-game-loving girls who go to my high school. How can I go about meeting the kind of girl I want to meet, when there is no place where teens hang out around here?

Rather than looking for a girl that has one specific characteristic (that she likes video games), possibly you should try to expand your own interests.

Join a club or an after school activity. I know it sounds cliche and kind of unhelpful, but it actually does produce pretty good results. I’ve met a lot of my friends who are girls through cross country and track. We share a common interest in running, and having a common interest with a girl is a step in the right direction to meeting your girl.
