How do I register a business name online?
My husband is a plumber with a company but does alot of side work, so we need to open up a business name and get a tax #, we have a named picked but dont know what to do from here…
we live in NY not sure if that matters….
It is a local issue and not an online issue. File forms for your “ficticious name” – do business as ——–DBA Johns Plumbing or other. You can file taxes using your social security number. Worked for me in California.
